Allow Atma Farming While Using an Atma or Animus Weapon

Can't we be allowed to be farming up atmas for our other jobs while using upgraded weapons? Players that have completed an atma weapon or an animus have shown that they've put in the time and effort to gathering up the atma required, so why not cut players some slack and allow them to use these weapons to gather more?

The argument that you have to farm up atmas for X job while on X job is already not there. It's common practice to be farming up atmas with other jobs that can do the fates easier. On top of that, you're already allowed to carry multiples of the same atma.

So I ask, can't players be allowed to be farming up atmas with a relic weapon that's zenith or higher?

Get a Bard Zenith and Farm until you have enough for all the job you need before turning it in.

You do realize you can purchase your base relic from the calamity vendor in Gridania and then spend the 900 myth to upgrade it to a Zenith? I have both my Atma and Zenith Artemus Bows and will continue using my Artemus Bow Zenith to farm Atmas for all my jobs.

Both of these are still plausible options, but it still doesn't help everyone. In matter of fact, both options are saying to make the game "easier" you have to work harder. That's not the point of this thread. It's to ask if SE's willing to make it easier for people who have already made an atma weapon or animus weapon to be collecting additional atmas.

Most likely, yes. But with all the myths you need already for animus, why would you want to waste even more of them on something like that?

Been keeping my bow in zenith form simply to farm atma with, even though it's a weapon I would like to upgrade :/

I think a key reason they do not want people to farm with atmas or animus is the potential stat boosts that can make the farming even easier.

The majority of fates that you would farm atmas for are still level synced. So the stat boosts aren't there.

Not only do I think they should do this, but also slightly increase the drop rate when using an Atma. If you done it once, why have to suffer the same long grind again? I know it would destroy bragging rights for anyone saying they have two atma weapons, but I wouldn't brag about that XD still, to ease the pain, if just a lil', an increase in atma drops when using an atma or higher weapon would be very much appreciated.

I think you have "easier" confused with "less tedious" and/or "slightly less idiotic." There is absolutely nothing difficult about doing hundreds of Fates gameplay-wise.

Personally I'd just make it that getting to that part of the relic quest allows you the ability to acquire Atmas regardless of class/level. May as well be allowed to get something more productive that merely seals out of the grind.
