I'm currently on Famfrit, and have been considering moving to a more active server.

Can anyone give me any info on the status of the Leviathan server? Is it active? Are there some good FCs? How busy is Party Finder on a normal day?

Well its noon PST and we have 12 people looking in PF atm and its still early, I love this server.

Yeah, that's pretty good. Last night, in the prime evening time frame (between 6pm-10pm), Famfrit only had 11 parties looking at the busiest point.

Leviathan is pretty active around 6pm to 2-3am Eastern with various PF for various things. Though just like any other servers, there will be more PF of things people do most like Atmas or Leviathan EX farming or Coil 2 but that's the same anywhere you go. Leviathan has a big range of FCs to choose from based on your need: hardcore raiding, social or casual. At peak time, you'd probably find 15-20 PF up. You might want to ask for invitation into several endgame or social LS depending on what you like cause people make groups there as well.

Perfect that's what I'm looking for. I was trying to get into Ifrit EX last night, no parties were looking. Created my own, no one joined. Sat in DF for 91 minutes before a group popped. It was a fairly frustrating evening just trying to do an EX primal on my server.

I wouldn't jump to conclusion just yet. Ifrit EX is going to be few and far between these days on any server. It might be a bit better on Leviathan cause of higher population but you won't have instant parties, sometimes maybe even an hour. That's why I only mentioned Leviathan EX since most people are still farming it for weapons and mirrors. DF-wise, you'd still be in the Primals Data Center so it would not make a whole lot of differences. Make a character on Leviathan and judge it for yourself is what I would do.

Yeah, it goes beyond just last night. Most nights on my server I end up standing around waiting for DF because there's not many parties ever looking for members, beyond Atma farming.
