Yeah I don't get the sense that i90 gear is selling that fast tbh, plus it's price has dropped quite a bit, can't see myself bothering too much with it in terms of profit. Don't see a lot of ppl buying it on Cerberus..

Well yeah - you won't get as much money as possible if you buy materials from the market. You have to substract the money spent on those items from the money you earn with the sold items - which just lowers your earning by a lot depending on the material (nq or hq, rarity).
I don't wanna call it out as a must, BUT selling materials should be also worth a lot of money - there are many ppl out there not interested into farming or they just dont have the time to do so, so they buy it from the market (or ask the fc).
Most ppl dont even bother looking for the individual prices for the materials and calculate a price for the crafted goods and sell those things flat out under the lowest price on the market, just to earn some good and quick money - there might go some money down the drain.
Depending on server prices low end ltw and gsm is more lucrative through sb right now. Can make to 320k an hour off the good selling materias. Further you can meld those to higher ilvl sb fodder and drop the time it takes to sb t4 materia gear to about 20 minutes on the field, even faster in dungeons.
Put materia in all 5 slots and it will always beat out i90 myth gear. The only way you will find crafted i90 being worse is if it happens to be non-melded NQ. Even some i90 crafted is better than i100 soldiery thanks to being able meld for optimized secondary stats in a slot where it wouldn't be possible otherwise.I'm more surprised that people are actually buying i90 crafted gear on your server. The market seems pretty stale on Ragnarok. Sure they sell for a high price, but there's so few people actually buying.
And why bother? It's weaker than myth i90 gear and superseded by i100 gear. I don't think SE takes crafting as seriously as we do.
I wouldn't say cul is the most profitable at all.
I make way more gil selling hq 2* gear than I would spending the same time making stuff with cul.
if I was to bother spending the time I think I could make even more with hq 3*, but that's to much time investment for my liking. so I only craft 3* gear I'm personally using.
that being said if your making 150k a day with little effort then your making more gil than you need any given day in ff14.
strange awareness of ghosts that no longer haunt this shell.
