I'm definitely in. It's the challenge that I want, not really the reward.

i hope whatever this fight is, it does not contain the following:
1) it should not have "only one intended mechanic" in order to clear.
- so that even though a video is uploaded everyone is still free to experiment and try various methods to clear it
2) latency or lag dependent
- i know some lag issues are dependent on your location. but i really hope latency/lag dependency on this battle is minimized.
3) a set of specified class jobs for optimal performance
- would be nice if all jobs are equally useful on this fight
Love by some, hated by many envied by few... yet, wanted by plenty
/Clap - My point exactly. Extreme should be compared as Hell mode in Diablo 3. Nothing left after it.Inb4 Titan Elite.
If they come out with anymore Ifrit, Gaurda or Titan runs I'm going to be extremely disappointed and feel like they keep re-using old content
just because reasons. Next up, Titan Elite will have us all stand in a single pillar for each and he stomps around like a moron in mid-air like he's
in some damn Marching Band and you gotta play Hopscotch on the pillars to do anything lol because he's going to teleport and crap or whatever.
Time to move on. No one wants to fight these Primals in 10 different level's.
Among other things, I am also a junior programmer, been told not to reinvent the wheel since it's made already.
There comes a breaking point where you need to get the pulse of the community and stop rehashing old content and stuff, to bring new stuff.
At least 'content' still comes every 3 month or so whew..
*2 hours before home - patching up - hopefully no issues - enjoy new Vistas lol
I don't care and will laugh if it's just another rehashed extreme. (Devs are really raising the bar with creativity around here)
Unlike the "leet" players that have a fit over casual content, I am all for giving them more crazy level stuff... and titles are great for them.
What they also need to do is either produce some more quality casual encounters, or nerf some of the roadblocks like Twintania to open up more content to casuals.
Frankly, I would rather they make new casual raid content... as coil is pretty boring and crusty.
I've been wondering if they were going to do something like this, like a superboss from the single player FFs that is just there to challenge the best and for bragging rights and would last over an hour. Think Yiazmat from FFXII.
The titles in WoW for raid achievements were really fun to go after. Starcaller, of the Nightfall, and The Undying were some of my faves.
The Undying was achieved by beating a raid called Naxxramas without anyone dying. It took an incredible amount of attention and teamwork. Of course it became easier later on after people outgeared and leveled the raid, but you couldn't just derp your way through it even then. People with that title while it was current were quite inspiring
I'd love to see something like this in ARR.
A friend and I were actually discussing the possibility of them bringing in Yiazmat earlier today. Seriously, if they brought that boss, it would be amazing.
How About 2 Primals in one fight at the same time ??? imagine Titan Vs Garuda ? lol
Love the idea. And although would love a Giglamesh HM or Ex, don't want it to be this one.
Time to enter The Magus Sisters....
