I just don't want to do it anymore because of the reason that you need to learn all the mechanics perfectly in order to win or you wipe. It takes time and I have done that many times before in different games. Now I just don't want to use that much time for it anymore and rather focus on more casual content.
Wow has tougher and more mechanics then FF14 fights, yet you can't be bothered to learn this game?

Also if you have experience, it becomes easier and faster to learn new mechanics, since you have past experience, in order to have some weight to your argument, please state your experience then, otherwise this is just hot air.

    ...*sigh*...

I purposely left out the long story, because I couldn't bother to write it, but I guess now I have to. Story begins when I began playing RPG's when I was like 12 or 13, that was over 15 years ago (I'm almost 28 now).

    Played through numerous RPG's including:

    Diablo, Diablo 2 & LoD, Diablo 3 & RoS

Neverwinter nights every expansion ever made

Dungeon Siege I, II and III

Dungeons & Dragons Stormreach (Although I never went to endgame in this game) (Also D&D Boardgame why I was interested in the online version)

Runescape was the first online rpg I played when I was around 12-13 (Quit when they made it 3D)

WoW raided Naxxramas and reached Atiesh staff on my Warlock, Burning Crusade went all the way through Illidan and tanked him as a warlock, when Wotlk was released I quit a while after Arthas was put to the game (because to be honest, after Vanilla, WoW went downhill fast to what it is today, gradually lost interest in the game even though it kept me interested for years)

Lord of the Rings Online (quit before Helms Deep Expansion) took 3 characters to max level (hunter, champion and warden and went to the endgame, but I found it a bit dull)

Guild Wars 1 & 2 (Never went to end game in 2, even though I had a character up at max level, this was just a "taking a break game from ffxiv" I never got into fully)

In FFXI raided through Dynamis, Sky and Sea with my Red Mage. Also had Rdm/nin and did a lot of soloing.

FFXIV since Alpha and have all jobs at 50 (it's been one hell of a ride so far though! )

It's been so many years of playing different games that I might even forget some already. I have well over 1500 days of actual playtime when I combine all of the MMO's I listed. In WoW my playtime was 600 something days, FFXI was around 400-500 days and I don't even know how many days I have on FFXIV and LOTRO since there's no counter in them. I know I've wasted a lot of my life with games, but I don't care

I just can't bother to do much hardcore content in FFXIV, it's my only reason why I've avoided the latter parts of coil, at least for now anyways. There are many better ways to deal with boss fights than blindly just follow mechanics that quite soon after you get it right the first time, become boring as hell. "Now he's going to do that move next.." "Yep, I go and stand there so I won't get hit" "And the next move is.." "Woo, evaded it because I knew it was coming" and it's the same thing every time you beat that certain boss, multiple times. Also the actual though of raiding content over and over again just to get better items when the items you actually have now don't matter that much because of the game mechanics have held me back on wanting to get them. I'd like to see the story in these dungeons though, I give you that, but I might just wait until all of these get nerfed down, so I can just breeze through them and see the conclusion to the story with minimal effort sometime in the future.

As I said before.. I'm focusing on more casual content at the moment, doing relic questline, gearing up all the classes with WoD items, taking care of my personal house and the furnishings, playing TT and Chocobo racing, fishing and just things I can do when ever I actually have the time.

For now, hardcore raiding is something I don't want to invest time to because I don't have it anyways, but hmm yeah, well to think of it, it does seem like an excuse, I guess I'm just not feeling it at the moment also :/

So yeah.. let's light up that hot air a bit.

What I still find strange from this is, you stated the time it takes to learn stuff in this game and its far shorter then most of WOW stuff so far and funny enough. Mechanics back in vanilla wow are more simpler then current coil mechanics, lot of it was more gear checks.

Mechanics now from WOTLK are beyond most of FF14 fights in terms of mechanics.

Relic quest line is far longer then learning a boss fight btw.

It is entirely upto you what you prefer to do in game, but most of the posts that are present here basically are asking for nerfs to mechanics and yet people think you can't include playerskill i.e meeting dps checks for the basics.

You do contradict your self in your post which is why its highlighted as such.

I should add, even my self has limited time, so are the people in our group, we only raid 2 hours a night upto 3 nights a week at best.

If someone tells about his thoughts, what about to listening and not questioning?
Just because it does not match "your" experiences, it does not mean they are wrong or invalid...

So basically when it comes to topic like this, shut up basically ?

This thread is a debate, not a one sided affair where the people struggling need to get everything their way and have everything for them.
