My only gripe with this game is the lockouts I had the ignorant notion that once you did a Turn in Coil, you were locked in that Turn for a week and could only progress or unlock the next turn after reset and you would go in a loop woops...but at least I thought: "hey, a dedicated static can farm [or attempt] the one turn for a week and with the way RNG sucks works in this game, at least that group can be somewhat rewarded for their lockout".

At least in Aion, the lockouts were eased by the fact that you could run with your static/friends, PUG it or pay mercs for the gear (RNG sucked as well in that game and a lot of times you were always assed-out of the gear during your runs. Many core groups used to sell the gear via the LFG for a price and to be honest, it didn't break endgame )

For those opposed to sells - please be aware a lot of people in this game are/have/will always be paying for the loot as well as the carry. I'm not a fan of this as much as the next person that likes to do stuff themselves, but it happens and I don't begrudge them. If SE was really against this, they would've shut it down already - but I'm assuming because the top raiders in this game are the main suppliers, I'm guessing SE doesn't want to step on their toes (the irony).

The only flipside to Aion is that you can successfully clear an instance like Danuar Reliquary 3 times in a week, 5 if you decided to get the Instance Entry Cooldown Pack. The only downside is that you are limited in attempts unless you purchased scrolls via kinah or NCoin. So in order to maximize your time in the game, you'd have to find people who know what they are doing in order to make the most out of your given entries. Or pay for more entries.

Aion 4.0 instances are also like Coil in terms of scaling difficulty should things begin to go south, examples being Modor in Danuar Reliquary and the final fight with General Sheba in Sauro Supply Base. If too many people keel over, you can try to use Cleric DP to help reset the fights but there's a limit to how often and how much you can die. While I agree that scaling difficulty for players is a necessity, I still believe that there just needs to be some content that needs to be challenging or a hurdle at least.

I'd replace the word 'top' with 'coordinated' or 'organised'.
Selling carries doesn't make you top anything, just a lot of gil.
