I would much prefer less mechanic driven fights in favour of the boss itself being tougher. Look at Levi ex and how fast his HP drops, the only reason the fight takes any length of time is because you're running around doing lots of different things instead of fighting the boss himself.

A lot of these fights have nothing to do with if I can play my job well or not, they're more about trying to fight a boss while running around on a minefield.

Also player lockouts need to go die in a corner. All they do is split groups of friends up instead of letting them play together when they are available.
Add HP and DEF is nothing more than the illusion of difficulty because it just makes it an endurance race instead of the huddles we have. I thinking removing dps from echo and adding movement speed would help a lot for people that have issues with dodging.

As far as lockouts breaking up friends, I thought about this earlier with the whole static thing. Seems to me friends would be patience enough to wait for the day their static is to meet up and not rush ahead but then again this is the old MMO philosophy where guilds would set up a schedule to run content.
