Where did all the AF armor go?

I expect 2.4, that's probably they earliest they'll add new tomestones, assuming they come from tomestones. If they come from quests, I'd expect it to be new level cap material, and that's probably an expansion (though they give plenty of mixed messages about that). 2.3 will only be adding Crystal Tower as "endgame" to my knowledge, and we already have some concept art of Crystal Tower armor (based on the bosses), so I doubt we'll get any new gear alongside that.

I personally don't see AF2 armor coming from CT. The first set we got through job quests and the second through Myth tomes.

I'm not sure if you actually looked at the AF2 pictures ^^;;; It sounds like you are talking about AF1.5

I fell in love with the SMN AF2, I eagerly await it. I am really interested to see WHM AF2 as well... I really hope we get a hood up option for it!
Maybe it will get a breast plate armor like so many of the concept arts...

I like AF gear, but the bard's was so underwhelming. At least the other version posted was decent and less effeminate. I was so quick to stop using mine soon as I found something better.

My guess is they will add AF2 when they add the new jobs. It seems like the best time to do it because they won't have to add in Ninja and Musketeer (I hope) after all the other jobs have already gotten their next set. So that would fall some time after 2.3 if I recall correctly, as Yoshida mentioned that new classes would come out shortly after that.

I would have loved that Dragoon set this patch instead of the crummy Soldiery stuff for DRG.
