It's not really an exploit, but it's definitely not the same as dodging slipstream... Slipstream is designed to be dodged, LOS method is to avoid handling the mechanics while avoiding the negative side effects. It's also very easy to mess up if you have poor timing. I remember seeing a video explaining how the method work, and ironically the tank was devoured. Anyways, yeah... not an exploit, it's way easier to just sit in the patches than worry about LOS anyways, people have their own way of handling mechanics, and this seems fine to me... I completely disagree with the enrage method in T2 mainly because it's stupid and now NO one seems to know how to handle it, making farming T2 a living hell.

Also, it has nothing to do with elitism... it's just someone asking a simple question, calling that elitism is like calling people who use the LOS method special snowflakes.

you didnt read the french thread, they call it the LOSer strat, call people using it noobs unable to do the right method ....

they report it as a bug also ask to sanction player who used it

in both cases you avoid getting devoured, so both makes you a looser then...lol.
whatever works, is fair game, regardless if SE intended it to be used that way or not. There's NIN tanks in XI (not by design choice from SE side) Is that to be considered exploit then also, just cause SE didn't intend for NIN to be tank?
