Unable to download game on PS4

Okay - so I had a thread marked as resolved where I asked how to play the PS4 version without having to insert the disk in the console. Well, it isn't resolved.

I was told to delete the game from my system and then re-download the game from the store. I deleted it, and the store shows I own the game, but it has no download link, and the game is not in my games Library.

Anyone else have any suggestions? They really need to change it so I don't need the disk, since I am the only one who can play it because of the login requirements (and I have an authenticator).

It's better to talk to playstation support about that, also if you bought the disk version then I am pretty sure you always need the disk in to play.

I am having the same issues, I was playing fine without the disk and all of a sudden it stopped working and I had to start playing with the disk in the system which sucks. Did you contact PS customer support yet?

No - not yet. I'm not convinced that this is completely a PS issue - so I have sent a few emails to Square and Sony to see who is responsible for wanting the disk inserted and who makes the download available if it shows as purchased - they both may have a part in this.

No - I have friends in game who bought a physical copy and they were able to get it working without the disk. I haven't checked in the last few days given what SmokeC said above.
