    PS3 to PS4... to different PS4

    So, I upgraded from the PS3 version of the game to the PS4 version, but it's now overheating and is going back to Sony for repair/replacement. Thankfully, I was going to get my girlfriend a PS4 for her birthday anyway - so I'm just getting that early and will be playing on a different PS4 while mine is out of service.

    Just wondering how that will work. Since my current PS4 version of the game still has an option to "purchase" FFXIV whenever I select it (at least last I checked).

    Just login to the new / other PS4 with your PSN account, then go to Library and re-download the game client from there.

    Ah, excellent. Thank you. I didn't know if the ps4 client would be recognized as being the full game or not.
