What happened to this announced feature?

I would love the alliance feature to finally be added. We are near capacity in our linkshell we use for cross FC communication.

Same thing that happened to making full 24 man premade alliances for CT. It got pushed back and then not talked about so that people would eventually forget about them.

They never promised this in CT for 2.1 nor did they promise it for 2.2. They did say they would add it eventually, but that it wasn't a priority. They did exactly what they said they would.

Yeah thought that but it does state "in 2.3" I'd imagine shiva would of never come that soon as they had it all mapped out, still wish it would happen now though, would be so nice to have FC activities that didn't just involve queuing, entering raid, kill X, leave

Unless the new hunts are just a version of it and primals to come later...

I think this is exactly what they are. They mentioned that FCs would compete weekly, so at the very least I think the hunts are kind of preparing us for the Primal thing.

I will use my FC as an example. Our FC is large with over 130 members (Realistically 80+ active), but some people don't like large FC. We have a sister FC who we do all kinds of events with that is much smaller since many of those players don't like a big FC. We've been building an odd little community where an alliance feature would allow us to connect to the other guilds more effectively. Right now we use a linkshell to have a combined chat room, but The linkshell technically has less space than the entirety of my FC. We would love this feature.

This feature could also help people who want to be in a raiding FC, but also join a FC that focuses on roleplaying. :P Yep, it happens.
