Rotations for two star, 40 durability items

What do people use rotation wise to craft darksteel ingots and such? My hasty touch luck is iffy, I seem to fail 2-3 times on average when I need to use it multiple times and this results in a NQ item, I have been practicing on 2 star food using only the first 40 durability trying to find a good pattern but nothing reliable. Any suggestions? Right now I have 362 craft and 340 control on my crafters with 340 cp.

its simple we don't hq any of those 2 star mats,. we hq the stuff its used for.

otherwise that I'm aware of a good run of hasty's and the standard finish with great strides, ingenuity (2), (innovation), byregots blessing, careful synthesis 2 careful synthesis 2

TC could be talking about the 2 star mats, needed to get into 3 star crafting, in which case HQ is needed.

In any case, there is no 100% method, use HQ mats when available, the rest is luck.

NQs 2-star base components (DS ingots, RG ingots, etc) still sell reasonably well. Maybe at a minor loss. Just take your chances with the hasty touch rotation du jour and sell your failures on the marketboard.

EDIT: Apologies, my mistake as this is not what the community feels to truly be 100%.. In a case where there is poor condition on Byregot's Blessing, it will lower chance but this is a very rare scenario.

Yes this is exactly what OP was looking for (coudos). But its also good to mention that this is NOT Guarenteed 100% by any means and that there is a possiblity that he gets an NQ at the end of that rotation! (Loosing his Coke, Peacock, gil etc.) Missleading peoplle into thinking its 100% or even 99.99% (Which this is NOT) isn't very helpful. Any rotation with even 1 Hasty touch in it is not 100% Guarenteed. Is that the only option? YES. Is there a RISK in getting a NQ? YES.

I understand that you both are saying that HT is not 100%... but it is damn near close. This is the golden rotation for 2 star 40 durability, pre Artisans. I'm sorry, but you are incorrect. Anyone that is able to do this rotation that is some what close to being fully melded will pump out HQs with next to NO issues. IF... IF you fail, you can just make a couple more to recoup your loss and make profit. You are underestimating that you only need a few successful HT to get to 100% HQ... once you get to 10% quality, you can miss all other HT and ensure 100% HQ... again to you all that doubt.. don't knock it until you try it. You will surprisingly find out you were wrong.

I'm honestly trying to help here, I have all master books and made a nice amount of gil from these that sold on markets, virtually making my master books free.

Edit: BTW Takes 371 CP for my rotation. Max CP with NQ Fish Soup should give you enough.
