PSN Maint really sucks

kids down for a nap (check), ice cold drink (check), ready to get down (check)...ready to level Black Mage some more (at 40 now) and ....f'ing maintenance...so computer people still get to play...dang it...always when I have time to play there is mainteance...I must have the worst luck ever...guess I'll play tonight.

Well, Square did alert everyone to the PSN maintenance, As did Sony.

by telling people if they were logged in, they could continue to play.this was not the case, as from the looks of it, ps4 players got kicked out of game.

Every other PSN maintenance since the game launched has allowed logged in players to continue playing. My wife was able to continue playing on PS3 just fine. It looks like PS4ers aren't so lucky and since no one at SE or Sony (moreso SE since I doublt Sony tells them anything) is capable of seeing the future they didn't know a maint. would disconnect the game. This is the first real PSN maint. since PS4 launch.
