Forum posting restrictions

Yes that has been discussed countless times no doubt, but yet the issue remains.

Why oh why is there a 1000 character limit, especially when they give us such an easy, but annoying work around? Isn't there also a daily posting limit or something?

I'm usually a pretty big user of forums in MMOs but here I barely get up to even 5 posts a day, they just make things so tedious and annoying.

Also not being able to comment on the forums unless you have an active account. Why? I can sort of understand it but sometimes I need to quit for a bit, take a break after getting burned out on it, and I like to head to the forums once a week or so to see what's new. I still like to participate in the forums even when I'm not playing. But it seems they would rather force me to find a non-official forum and sign up to that one - which with all these posting restrictions actually doesn't seem like that bad of an idea. It'll probably be more active than these ones anyways.

How about think very well before you start typing and try resume it before write it?, i think this limitations are intended to somehow reduce the ammount of trolls on forums or force people to write only the most important stuff, no one likes to read a text of over 1000 characters from wich maybe about 200 were enough to state your point.
