Uh, sorry to beat a dead horse but all the searching I did turned up outdated information. Currently would it be best to go full VIT as warrior or some STR.

Hi,
so far people like both from what I've read, you can't go wrong.discussion outdated from 2 weeks ago :P
Some say the extra HP is wasted once you are correctly geared, some like the extra cushion.
Personally, I've tried 30 Str, 15 Str and 0 Str. I found that my threat and overall survival wasn't affected too much.
I've just opted for the full 30 Vit as it actually ends up being 37.5 Vit with Defiance on. Who doesn't like a large HP pool?![]()
Hm, I see. Thanks for the thread, when I searched google I turned up data from 2.1. I'ma read the thread but would you guys suggest full vit for up and coming warriors?Hi,

I think while you're leveling it doesn't matter too much.
At 50 it depends. If you could jump into pretty decent gear right away since you already have a lvl50 you might just go strength since you'd already have a pretty decent HP pool. But, from your loadstone it doesn't look like you've got much yet.
Just starting fresh at 50 with the Job-quest stuff it might be a good idea to do at least some vit.
You'll be doing lots of the level 50 4-man dungeons to get gear up to where you can do CT and BCoB so what really matters is having enough HP to do those.
When I do the lvl50 4 mans I go with full strength accs and I've got full strength allocation. With my left-side gear that's about 6700hp in defiance. That is usually plenty. But at lower ilevel I'd probably recommend trying to have more hp since your defense is lower and you're not as practiced yet so you might take a bit more damage as you polish your skill.
My advice is to go 30vit. Then get STR accessories. You can then swap in str/VIT gear as needed on a per fight basis. If you are clearing t9 with excess HP then start to swap VIT to STR.

Basically it depends entirely on your gear. As people have stated in this thread it's always better to go full vit and use str accessories as necessary.
Be aware how much str you currently have and where the next tier of parry is at. AFAIK the tiers you want to shoot for are 365, 405 and 445 (basically 40 point increments). The goal is to reach the highest tier of parry possible without sacrificing too much HP. Once you reach the highest tier possible with your current ilvl, any str over that value isn't going to provide you a meaningful difference. In other words if your at 406 str..and you know that no combination of accessories is going to push you over 445, then wear vit accessories in your remaining slots.
The STR isn't for parry.
^Yup
It's also been shown that the game rounds for display. The chances are there are no actual parry tiers.
20 mnd and 5 piety and maybe 5 vit if you feel like you need it. or go str8 30 dex
