Elemental Resistances increase item yield?

First time i really noticed this at all, but has any tried like melding elemental materia on there crafting gear lol, to get like higher Yield Bonus** for lvl 50nodes?

This is for a lvl 30 node maybe higher nodes need like 300ish?

Unless the nodes tell you they have this it's worthless from what I recall.

I don't think there are anymore higher level nodes that require elemental resistant check aside from the one you showed, having extra resistant won't help further increase the yield either.

I believe that only level 30 nodes have this trait, and it doesn't take many levels before your natural elemental resistances will be high enough that no materia is required to reach the target. Melding elemental resistance is pretty pointless - though it IS cheap and does help you spiritbond your gear more quickly so, hey, if you're at a lower level and need just one or two more resistance to get double yield, plug in a materia or two and enjoy it for the short time it's useful.

Being a Keeper I had to meld +2 STR for one **** mining node. (STR 202 for an extra swing, I caped at 200.)

Never saw a resistance requirement past L 30 nodes.

its a shame they didn't add this as a requirement for double yield on crystals too,..

in truth no one is going to waste slots on resistance material instead of actually useful gathering material. however maybe slot 5 material meld if it had a use is something we might of done.
