Helping players who already have atma/animus/novus get atma for other classes easier isn't widening the gap between an old player and a new player?

If anything they should've done the opposite of the OP and made the atma droprate worse the more atma you get. I mean, the people getting a bunch of them are the ones who wanted a grind and somehow enjoy it, right?

I don't really see why the upgraded weapons need a better drop rate; however, I do think that atma/animus weapons should be able to at least get atma drops just like the zenith weapons can.
