Is that your opinion or that of the Tank doing the pulling. I hate people that think they know the tanks job better than he/she does.

It's not about knowing the job better. It's literally about taking a minute to examine others and determining how you should pull. Even if the tank's geared up in the 90s, if the healer/DPS aren't geared well enough, pulls will have to be adjusted. I saw this first hand when a tank tried to do a speedrun in Brayflox HM. Whilst I'm decently geared for it, my friend, a monk, was barely out of his AF gear (had enough pieces of other gear to make it into the dungeon) and the healer was probably not too far ahead of him from what I can remember. We wiped. He got pissed and left after saying they both sucked, rather than adjusting pulls.

Healers who dps without cleric stance on make me cringe really hard.

The whole Materia overmleding system is awkward beyond belief.
- Pick your equipment from a potentially huge list.
- Pick your materia from a potentially huge list.
- On a fail, wait for stupidly long failure emote to finish.
- Pick the same equipment again.
- Pick the same Materia again.
- Continue until success.

Sure, you can arrange things so that it's a bit more smooth (put only one piece of equipment and only one type of materia in your inventory) but there's no good reason why we should have to. The game should remember which materia and which equipment were selected, and default to that. Even better would be auto meld, where it will continually attempt to meld until success or until the selected materia runs out.

It gets even MORE fun when you're overmelding for someone else. The poor shmuck has to select you, then select request meld, then select equipment, then select materia, over and over and over...

How poorly everything looks on female roegadyn. I want to be one so badly, because they have the most beautiful faces -but I'm a WHM, and robes look so horribly unflattering that I cannot get myself to switch. They look so amazing in tight clothes... I just wish the cloth armors were better tailored! Biggest gripe!

As far as quality of life, some things have bugged me....

- the disadvantage you are supposed to put up with while waiting for DF. Can I do atma farming? - no chocobo. Same with beast tribe stuff - no chocobo. OK, so I'll craft something - then I get to choose between tossing a bunch of expensive items, or missing my DF slot if it pops. Waiting I don't mind, but the added disadvantages I do mind.

- accidentally calling choco while waiting for DF tosses you out immediately. If there was ever a need for a simple yes/no confirmation, this is it.

- DPS/Healers in low level roulettes that who think they are SOOOOOO important, and in such a hurry, that they can just tear through it pulling everything in sight, running rings around a lvl 20 tank. This is why we don't have enough tanks in DF.

Most I know that do that are just looking for a party in general so they can actually learn. Still maybe not the best idea since it'll just make people angry, but it's not exactly with mal-intent. They're just tired of being told they can't do something because they don't know it.

eyeah.. but you can still start your own PF for learning. And secondly, isn't that was LS/FC mates are for as well ?

As for thread question:
- AH/MB closing each time I buy something.
- Stupid que times for PvP
- Party members who refuse to communicate and make dungeons difficult or downright impossible to clear

BLM losing LoS on mob interrupts casting. FFXI didn't need to be facing mob to cast. Bring that back!

I mainly play BLM but at the moment I am leveling my Archer....
I am still to decide if I think it's awesome or terribly hilarious in comparison with BLM D:

Using Benediction on yourself, because the target just died the second you were done doing your shiny dance. Plus having to hit the key multiple times, because I can't 100% rely on an instant-cast
