FFXIV 1.0 Font Face?

Hello,

To all the legacy players present here would you guys like to see the old Font Face style 1.0 had? Obviously things are different now but with user made mods coming I wonder if changing font styles from Modern to Retro would be a cool idea? Please let me know what you guys I'm seriously curious.

I would be THRILLED to have the old name font back. I love ARR but I freaking HATE the name font!

I prefer the 1.0 font and find the current one to be gaudy.

Oh Azeyma above, this! It was one of the things I loved about 1.0 - the font and GUI style actually suited the setting, and I feel it's lost something by changing to this fancy new streamlined FFXIII-style ultramodern font and GUI style.

I actually asked about this back in Beta whether there could be a possibility to have a function added to the game where the GUI font and art style could be switched between the default ARR style and the 1.0 style and fonts (maybe call it 'Legacy' interface style or something), but sadly the development team never responded. I'm still hoping this could be added in the future though (FFXI after all had a GUI alteration ages ago where a new style of ability icons were added and the player can change between the two).

The whole user-made-add-ons thing, I am really hoping that'll let us manipulate the interface style. Whereupon I'll be hoping even more for the old interface and font style 'cause those looked lovely.

If we get mods, someone needs to bring back the 1.0 UI or at least the font. The current font with the grey window backgrounds is just horrible, when I saw it in the beta I seriously thought it was just a place holder. It's clear that Yoshi does not want this game to resemble a JRPG in any way.
