    From my understanding you need to break the lvl10 cap once, then onwards you can level up normal... (not confirmed)
    Lets say the skillpoints you need stay same with 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 and you will get 11 points for each new level up to 20... that makes total 110 skillpoints!
    Then you have enough to spend it on all 3 skilltrees...

    Would be nice if a GM/Mod can confirm if we only need one choco (Thavnairian) onion to be granted access up til level 20 or one choco onion for every level after level 10. I sure hope it's the first option though,those choco onion are rather expensive.

    On a side note, after hitting level 10 and using the choco onion, you will not be able to get additional set of barding if you respec straight away! Just tested that myself and wasted 40 allied seals.

    It's pretty clear in the patch notes:
    - Chocobo Level Cap
    For chocobos that have already attained the maximum rank, rewarding them with a Thavnairian onion following training will increase this upper limit by one.
    * Chocobo companions cannot exceed rank 20.

    Guess I wasn't paying attention again, this is going to hurt the wallet quite a bit.

    On a side note, anyone know how to set the favorite feed? Feeding when stabled or summon it with the special food?

    - Favorite Feed
    If you reward your chocobo with the same snack after repeated training sessions, that fruit or vegetable will become the chocobo's favorite feed. Your chocobo's favorite feed can then be used to grant beneficial effects when summoned to battle. You may change your chocobo’s favorite feed if you so desire by repeatedly rewarding your chocobo with a different snack after training.
    Don't work with Krakka Root, would be too easy.

    I already fed my choco twice while stabled, no changes observed. Going to feed more and observe, will get post back here when I get results.

    Update:
    After I heard that you need to feed them when summoned, I tried feeding my chocobo ten Slykis Bud (after summoned), nothing happened either.

    Going to try feeding ten while stabled, then summon and feed another one. Will update after I'm testing.

    Well it wouldn't matter because krakka root doesn't have an effect so if you double 0 you get no beneficial effect. So it is possible that krakka root can be a favorite food and overwrite the other favorite food forcing a person to keep feeding them the same special food or loose the benefit.

    I am unable to test this so it is just a theory

    Really? How exactly have you deducted that from that quote? It says "repeated training sessions" which would mean at least two but most likely more than that should be expected. From some (yet unconfirmed though) discussions on the server it seems to be 10 or 11. There are confirmed (temporary - e.g. till dismissed / dead) bonuses while feeding the summoned companions with bonus food. So far I've not seen the status of the favorite food changed by feeding both stabled or while summoned however patch notes would indicate former based on "If you reward your chocobo with the same snack after repeated training sessions" part.

    It's 10 times of the same food to get your chocobo to get a favorite food when stabled.

    You get a message on the 10th feed saying your chocobo is fond of 'x' food, and it also shows up under the favorite food category in the companion menu.
