A new chat for chatting...

The lack of something like this is one of my few major disappointments with this game. We had some great conversations on the general chat back in Aion; they kept spam out by making you wait 30 seconds between posts (Which was a bit long, but 20 seconds would probably be reasonable!).

There were separate global LFG and Trade channels, so while you could get away with posting group invites or ads VERY occasionally, if you were obnoxious you got shouted out of the channel and blocked by most of the server pretty quick, so spam was rarely a problem.

I would love this, even if it were in cities like how WoW does it. The reason that I kept my WoW sub into the last few months of me playing it was in order to just sit around and read trade chat and talk with the other people. It feels so empty here, even though it is not..
Also, do you guys realize that you can customize every aspect of your chat tabs, even renaming them? I would like the option to add other tabs, but for example I have a RP tab that only has say, yell, tell, FC, and my RP LS on it. You can filter however you want they are all just checkboxes.

How about alternatively, having the option to join any chat channel. So you can opt in to persistently be in Mor Dhona, or North Shroud, or just everywhere at once.

That would be immensely useful, for finding groups that aren't in PF, and as a crafter it would be really nice to see all melding/crafting requests in every town at once.
