Hey there was wondering where the village/ tribe is for the Miqo'te Keepers of the Moon.
The Keepers of the Sun have the U clan. But where is the moon equivalent, or some reference to it?

Simply put, Keepers of the Moon are somewhat more independent and matriarchal, hence they don't actually form tribal groups like we Sunseekers do, but instead prefer small family groups. Hence Moonkeepers tend to be more transient, rarely forming communities of their own (instead they will usually just settle in another city or town established by one of the other races - Gridania specifically is a popular choice for Moonkeepers). Those that don't usually end up running afoul of Gridania's strict policy on poaching, thus many Moonkeepers end up resorting to banditry to survive.
Besides, given your devotion to Menphina, you Moonkeepers are more likely to be outside hunting and offering reverence to the moon when everyone else is in bed, thus making actual Moonkeeper settlements somewhat redundant.![]()
The archer questline has you in conflict with a Moonkeeper tribe/poaching gang in South Shroud.
I feel obliged to point out that the Forgotten Springs settlement is very probably just one of many other "prides" of the Sun Seeker U tribe. I say this because I've seen other members of the tribe in places as far removed from the desert as La Noscea. I find it even more unlikely that U'odh Nunh is the daddy of every single U tribe miqote I see in the game. There are likely to be other prides of U tribe miqo'te around, just that they don't get a starring role in the game.
The same can probably be said of Moon Keeper tribes. They're out there somewhere in Eorzea. You just don't get to see them in the game itself.
My guess the Moon, alone with Princess Luna and the Lunarian part of Gensokyo
On a more serious note, I don't know but I think they might be in Gridania
Don't you mean Princess Serenity??? cause last I checked Loony Lovegood wasn't a princess....
But yes, the Miqo'te of the Keepers of the Moon tend to be predominately located in Gridania. You can distinguish Keepers from their Seeker compatriots by the fact that Keepers don't have single letters separated by an apostrophe in front of their names the large majority of the time. The most notable of the Keepers of the Moon representatives, show up in the Archery Guild's main storyline. In fact it could be argued that the Archery Guild storyline serves the secondary purpose of also being the Keeper of the Moon main storyline as well.

The Keepers of the Sun have 26 different tribes (each designated by a different letter of the alphabet), and just one of them (or as TinyRedLeaf pointed out, just a portion of one of them) has a clear settlement. It seems Miqo'te are all rather widely dispersed. Though they identify with a particular tribe, they apparently only rarely live together in tribal groups.
(I wonder if they all had tribal homelands before immigrating to Eorzea. The mass migration of the Fifth Umbral Era just seems like a likely time for a tribal society to become so dispersed.)
In a sense, but not in such a negative light. Remember that Keepers tend to prefer "traditional" aspects of their culture, and hunting is a huge part of that. The only problem is that hunting is frowned upon by Gridanians because they believe forest life has just as much right to live in peace as they do (by virtue of the Elementals). What we have is simply a clashing of cultures. Neither side is right, but neither is wrong as well. They are just both too stubborn to stray from their own ways. It's also complicated by the fact that, unlike most of the other clans and races, Keepers are nocturnal for the most part, so they don't interact with others nearly as much. This leads to an air of mystery and lack of understanding, and people innately fear what they don't understand.
We're not a tribe, we're a clan. Seekers of the sun form tribes, keepers of the moon don't.
But to answer your question, as stated above, there are two places in the Black Shroud where some keepers of the moon have formed makeshift settlements. One is Taker's Rot near Quarrymill, and the other is on the Upper Paths, near Camp Tranquil. It is also explained in character creation that a large number of keeper of the moon Miqo'te settled in Gridania - and if you check, almost all Miqo'te npcs in Gridania are indeed keepers of the moon.
Pretty much, the npcs are split into two "factions" in-game; those that live outside Gridania within the Black Shroud and continue their ancestral hunting (the Couerlclaws) and those which don't, and stay in Gridania. The archer quests prove that the Coeurlclaws are pretty disgusted with their "domesticated" sisters.
Hope that helps!
