    Monster Behavior changes

While mulling through the 1.18 patch notes I noticed this little snippit.

[dev1118] The behavior of several enemies has been adjusted.
Some monsters that would sense a nearby adventurer, move to investigate, then attack, will now attack immediately upon sensing.

Does this mean that monsters such a clipper and efts will flat out agro on sight/sound of us? Personally I'd love to hear the reason why this was changed. Not only will this make harvesting in treespeak a nightmare, but it makes no sense as to why they would change something so unique about the monster AI's.

Is anyone else with me that these changes are strange and not really what we should be aiming for with these updates?

The only reason I can think of this is they wanted to put these mobs into the dungeons and not have people exploit "Sneaking" by them. I really hope that isn't the case and that these mobs behaviour is not as dramatically changed as I think it may be.

1.18 is a rather solid patch but this snippit makes no sense! I want my unique monster AI's!
