Mentor program, wherefore art thou?

If there are benefits to the follower/apprentice/whatever outside of simply getting help from their mentor, that may not hold true. So as long as there is no extra benefits then the program might be more appealing.

That's one thing about it I hope they keep from FFXI. Mentoring is something you're willing to do out of the goodness of your heart. There should be no tangible reward, other than the future friendships you build.
