Need advice as healer

Currently, I'm playing as a rank 9 SCH. My PVP abilities are equanimity, purify, and attainment.

However, even with them I have a hard time surviving against really experienced DPS and tanks. They just give me no room to cast much spells. I tried to abuse as much as I can with Surecast and Swiftcast and the PVP abilities I have but I still get wrecked nonetheless. Meanwhile, my team usually has a very difficult time trying to kill the opponent healer. Is there any sort of trick to survive a constant chain of combos?

What level are you queuing at? I suggest that you stick to Lvl30 for now. You can queue at Lvl40 but it's going to be a tough.
Those that queue at Lvl40/50 have a lot of abilities in their arsenal that having just those three abilities of yours wont be enough.

SCh or WHM?

I play as whm in bracket 30s/40s because i haven't pvp gear.

Blizzard II can help you when 2 melee are trying to focus you, bind and sleep them.

Strafe, it's your best move, because you don't give them your back. You can run each 30 secs, hug walls and columns.

If one player is bind try to move away from line of vision, because he could use tomahawk, jabalin or other attack that stop casting you and stop your sleep or your healing spell.

Use "esuna" ever you can, a friendly member slept is a 3vs4. Take advantage of delay to use esuna in movement or stop and go technique.

I usually queue for all three for faster queues, and I usually have the most trouble surviving in lvl 40.

I mostly play as SCH. And I can't leech debuffs off my party if I'm playing in lvl 30 sadly, nor am I able to sleep them. But i haven't tried blizzard yet

Well, as sch you have blizzard II, to bind enemies, you pet heals you and energy drain.
Your worsts enemies are a black mage and white mages in 30s bracket. But both are focused in a balanced match.

Sometimes your enemy team is formed by your own group. I sleep a melee, the bard-tank-smn attack him. They can ignore marks or move around without anything to do.
