    Create your class/job!

    In light of the speculation of new classes and jobs, as well as my own boredom, I thought it would be nice to see how many of us have ideas for a new class/job that may have not been seen before in FF or other games! An original job that we have thought up at some point.

    I actually went and thought up a new class/job when I thought if there was a mage class that used HP as well as MP as their source of input for spells (1.0's first THM gave me the idea with Sacrifice). I put the main focus as a mage which uses HP and MP to DPS and heal, similar to Dark Knight but more in the veins of a support. Similar to Arcanist, I made it with the options of it having a healer job and DPS job.

    I don't even have a name for it yet, but Druid/Shaman seems to come to mind for the class name...(I also only have thought of abilities for the healer job branch. >_>)

    I've put the abilities I thought of in spoilers to avoid a huge wall of text.

    Class abilities:
    Lvl 1| GCD: Sacrifice – consumes HP and MP to inflict damage on target enemy. Bestows Penance. Potency: 160. HP Potency removal: 30.
    Lvl 2| GCD: Exalt – consumes HP and MP to restore health of target party member. Bestows Penance. Potency: 450, HP Potency removal: 50.
    Lvl 4| Balance – consume 1 Penance to inflict damage based on difference of self’s maximum HP and current HP. Minimum Potency: 120, Maximum Potency: 200. Recast: 3 seconds.
    Lvl 6| Castigate – consume 1 Penance to inflict damage. Potency: 120. Added effect: Pacify. Recast: 35 seconds.
    Lvl 8| Esteem – lower’s own healing and attack potency while boosting target ally’s attack potency. Cannot be used while under the effect of Martyr. Target Attack Potency +20%. Duration: 20 seconds. Recast: 5 seconds. Additional effect: Martyr - Healing and Attack Potency reduction -10%.
    Lvl 10| Extol – lower’s own healing and attack potency while boosting target ally’s healing potency. Cannot be used while under the effect of Martyr. Target Healing Potency +20%. Duration: 20 seconds. Recast: 5 seconds. Additional effect: Martyr - Healing and Attack Potency reduction -10%.
    Lvl 12| GCD: Veil – place divine veil on target party member, temporarily increasing physical defence. Duration: 120 seconds.
    Lvl 15| GCD: Scourge – consume HP and MP to inflict damage on enemy. Instant cast. Potency: 80. Additional Effect: 30% chance of Dispel on enemy.
    Lvl 18| Penitence – consume 2 Penance to inflict damage on target enemy based on total damage inflicted on target by caster. Recast: 10 seconds.
    Lvl 22| Annex – consumes 1 Penance and applies shroud on target party member, causing any enhancement effects cast during effect to spread to ally party members in range. Duration: 15 seconds, Recast: 180 seconds.
    Lvl 26| Expiation – consumes 2 Penance and restores health over time. Potency: 80. Duration: 15 seconds. Recast: 60 seconds.
    Lvl 30| GCD: Hallow – consumes HP and MP to apply a cloak of vapor around target ally. Absorbs damage based on healing potency, when effect ends, absorbed damage amount will be dealt to enemies in range. If effect expires before damage threshold is reached, there will be no outgoing damage. Bestows Penance. Healing potency absorbed: 100. Converted damage: 50%. HP Potency removal: 60. Duration: 18 seconds.
    Lvl 34| GCD: Eulogise – consumes HP and MP to restore health of self and party members in range. Bestows Penance. Potency: 250, HP Potency removal: 100.
    Lvl 38| GCD: Sacrifice II – consumes HP and MP to inflict damage on target enemy and enemies near it. Bestows Penance. Potency: 110, HP Potency removal: 50.
    Lvl 42| GCD: Raze – causes damage to enemies in range while binding self. HP is drained while in effect. Bestows Penance. Ends upon reuse or when HP reaches 10%. Potency: 30, HP Potency removal:20. Additional effect: Heavy +20%.
    Lvl 46| GCD: Smite – places distorted veil over designated area, reducing magic defence to any enemies that enter and dealing damage of potency 15 overtime. Duration: 30 seconds.
    Lvl 50| Absolution – grants 5 Penance units. Recast: 120 seconds.
    *Penance has a maximum of 5 units.*

    Enhanced Piety II
    Enhanced Vitality
    Refresher: When Extol or Esteem is cast on self, gains effect of Refresh. Potency: 35, Duration: 20 seconds.
    Enhanced Veil: Adds increased magical defence to Veil effect.
    Enhanced Balance: Maximum potency increased to 240.
    Enhanced Penitence: Inflict damage on enemies around target,
    Enhanced Expiation: Expiation can be affected under the influence of Annex.
    Enhanced Scourge: If used under 5 Penance units, chance of Dispel increased to 100%.


    Healer Job abilities
    Lvl 30| Vigor – consumes 15% MP to restore 40% of own HP. Recast: 90 seconds.
    Lvl 35| GCD: Exonerate – remove a detrimental effect from target ally.
    Lvl 40| GCD: Reverse – erects distorted aether around target ally member, converting any restoration spells to damage and damage inflicted on ally converted to restored health. Conversion Percentage: 30%, Duration: 8 seconds.
    Lvl 45| Res Permuto – consume 3 Penance. Swaps the current percentages of your own HP with your target ally’s HP. Recast: 90 seconds.
    Lvl 50| Res Par – consumes 5 Penance. Distributes whole party’s current HP into equivalent percentages to all party members. Recast: 180 seconds.


    Remember that this is all for fun! So if its seems totally absurd, unlikely, broken, OP, say so, but it's all in the name of creativity. And who knows, maybe SE will pick up on some ideas and make a class out of it.
