    The animations for hammers are already in the game as we can see from that boss. In essence, Maurader animations would work with hammers as well.

    It's funny. No matter which weapon I'd want to see, I would never be able to equip it on my main (Warrior), because other than the Dual Haken, which I already have, there aren't really very many axes of note because there isn't a single Final Fantasy character that I know of that specializes in the use of axes, and I've played all of the core numbered titles. Everyone uses swords. Almost makes me want to level a Paladin just for glamour's sake.
