Small chat issue

When typing and entering a dungeon it remove the text bar before I can hit enter.
It erases the text bar when zoning into a dungeon. This doesn't seem to be a issue when entering a zone in the open world. I just find it annoying I have to retype something when someone takes us in using duty finder.

Think this is something they could fix?

IIRC, although the text it's removed before you hit enter, it's actually saved and you can resume it just by pressing enter as soon as the text bar is available again and then press up arrow key. Furthermore, you can cycle through your most recent chat dialogues with this feature, not just the last one you may have typed or about to type.
I know it doesn't completely fix the problem, but you won't have to type everything again, so I find it quite useful.

Nah that only works if you already sent the message, it gets saved. But if you get cut off and its erased try that and it doesn't come up.

{Oops}, so I guess I actually don't remember correctly :/ I really think I have been able to resume what I was typing after it was erased, but it seems I stand corrected now.
Anyways, bumping is useful still. Somehow.

Happens to me too, really annoying when I have to retype everything that gets deleted.

I find it annoying when I want to send a message to my FC, but type it in Party. If there is nobody in the party (happens to me a lot when I'm ending a run) then I just get the error message and my message is gone. I can't even copy-paste it into FC chat.

or, i guess if it does I haven't ever seen it happen. But I have absolutely been typing something to my FC in the chat bar while zoning into a dungeon and it doesn't erase it when i hit enter to get my chat bar to reappear. It usually only triplicates a letter or something. "Thanks guys I already have a ppaparty"

Or if I'm typing in party chat, and need to stop to do something but not ready to send the text yet, I click out of the chat box, i.e. click on a target. Then I wind up saying something like "guys, wait a sewasdr112112"
