Greetings,

I am a legacy player who spent 2.0 - 2.2 on the Sargatanas server. Shortly after the 2.2 launch I moved to Mateus, one of the newest non legacy servers. I've experienced the role of obtaining land on both servers and I can assure you that the Legacy servers are not getting a fair deal here.

There may have been a considerable amount of gil out there on the legacy servers which led to this price offset. I can totally agree with the initial design. However now that the release has passed. Those who have choose to spend this extra gil on housing have already done so. I think gil hoarders who continue to retain high amounts of gil without getting involved in housing simply don't find housing valuable enough to damage their stash.

Pre-existing gil is NOW out of the equation.

Now you must take into consideration the ability to make gil.

From my experience on Sargatanas. A large portion of the population was developed and had very little need for things bought and sold on the market. (LOW DEMAND)

A large portion of the population also has the ability to put all of the harder to obtainable items on the market. It's surely nothing special to mine gold ore on Sargatanas... Everybody is doing it. (HIGH SUPPLY)

Moving on to Mateus. A large portion of the population is not developed and they have a very large need for items in the game of all levels. (HIGH DEMAND)

A small portion of the population is developed enough to put harder obtainable items on the market. Much of what you're looking for is not even available on the market. (LOW SUPPLY)

Crafters and gatherers on Mateus are having no trouble racking up gil by selling items of all levels.

The truth is... I'm making Gil way faster on Mateus I'd estimate about 10x faster by doing the same things I did on Sargatanas. My Free Company consisting of generally new players is also capable of acquiring 100's of thousands of gil with very little effort by using low and medium level crafting and gathering due to the high demand.

I really think Square should take a look at the ability to make money from the average players perspective and reconsider the enormous price differences from server to server.
