I've kinda wanted to see the FF14 version of the sky gods.

I dont want a 'crossover' where something from one world comes to another. There were some neat things in XI that I would think would be nice if they were remade in XIV and incorporated into the lore like CT was.
Like Sea, I'd love to see a place like that in Eorzea
I remember Phantasy Star Universe had a cross over dungeon, where each time you would get paired up randomly with an NPC from PSO. I wouldn't mind something like that. Think Castrum, but instead of Cid they could be like Aldo/Lion/Prishe/Lilith and so on. Maybe even use a zone or layout theme from XI. A 4 man nostalgia dungeon.
I would love nm fights in any way possible.
It's not "a XI" thing like people say.
A lot of FFa have super mobs to hunt. Just look at IX, III, VI, XII and XII-2 they all have a nm system that's more or less random.
The only way to level chances for everyone is to randomize the spawn locations to the point of being impossible to predict.

I would just love a 1080p HD version of sky/sea. If they remade these with the same challenges but had the beginning pops drop from say, an instance or as gathering rewards, I think it would cure a lot of nostalgia and maybe give those who never played XI (or those who slate it despite never getting past level 10!) an insight to what we miss about the game. Not to mention it'll add tons of open world content. I doubt it'll ever happen but I can dream.

Some of the game specific fights could be a lot of fun to have as boss fights. Maybe once the primal story arc is done we can get them in some kind of arena as our stand alone bosses. I could see Promathia/AV fitting in well there. Maybe even some named NPC's that weren't bosses in XI like Prishe or Aldo.

One thing I want to see the most from FFXI is Tu'lia. Imagine Tu'lia in FFXIV Graphic. like. Oh. My. fricking. Gosh.

I don't know, Shantotto is a really interesting character. I mean, if you did any of her quests (not talking about Ascension) you'd know that. That and the fact she's there anytime there's an Alliance meeting... You really learn to fear the character, and tarutaru in general given the rest of the notable Windurst NPCs. Children shouldn't be allowed to lead, ever!
All that aside, I'd like to see more cross-overs but the problem with that is they'd have to keep to low levels to keep things fair and open to all. Personally, though, I think I'd prefer if future crossovers kept things on the low, nothing so big as gear sets like with the Lightning Event (there's a reason we got a full gear set from that).

maybe, if you somehow suffered her wrath. lol
Oh... and I forgot adding her grand entrance at Crystal War era if you play the Windurst mission from Wings of the Goddess. That was wicked too. XD
Besides, Shantoto (and Trishe) was amongst the most popular XI character, so popular that they were also introduced in other media, like the cross-over Dissidia titles.
And there's that laugh, that witch cackle which is too hilarious if you ever see the ending of Shantoto Ascension. XD
I like the Idea. I played XI for a long Time...
First for the guy telling us to go play XI ...
the new XI isn't XI anymore no reason to play it whatsoever!
Second I'd love to see the Arc Angels BCNM on 14!
Third I really liked 1.2+ give us to Kill a Raven (Hard/Extreme) with the Minstrel.
Now for a crossover... seeing how 'Wings of the Godess' ended on XI i'd see room for a Crossover...
