priority for roulette is - if alot of players are specifically queuing for one particular dungeon, that's where you get placed alot if needed - if you are not needed in a specifically queued dungeon, then its completely random placement from any of the low dungeons based on who in the queue at the time is eligible - IE: if only lvl 30s are next in the queue, you get placed in any lvl30 or below dungeon IF they need you - if everyone next in the queue is max level, its supposed to be a random placement for you all in ANY low lvl dungeon.

could be worse, I ran a stone vigil with a 45 scholor who never used adlo/succor, on the grounds of "idk what they do"

I do Duty Roulette main scenario as tank or healer. I do that to make sure that the first timers get to see their cut scenes. More often than not there is no one new (28 of the last 30 runs or so) and it goes plenty quick and get more myths than duty roulette low-level it seems. Actually took like over 30 tries before I got actually run thru Praetorium without some clown trying to start the bosses while people were watching the cut scenes and actually got to play thru it like it was intended and saw the flow of the whole thing. The first-timers were all happy to have seen all the bits they could see and they were like completely in awe of all the stuff they were seeing for the first time and making all sorts of happy ooh and aah comments and such.

So if you don't want to Totorak one more time, try main scenario and if you have the fortune of helping a first-timer do make sure that they get to see the cutscenes.

Probably with the paladin I got 10 levels earlier in Brayflox that never used flash. I left that party after the second time my dead body hit the floor. I really just don't get how some of these people level past their first dungeon without getting even a MODERATE clue about how to do their job.

Hmmmmm i sense something amiss with the low level DR.
The day i get Q'd into a group where everyone is 50 is the day i'll just go and say fk it guys let's SR these dungeons.
Technically once the blm has the aoe sleep, you can just do a massive pull and lock them all out at boss gate. All the low level monsters are sleepable. Qarn is the dungeon i think that starts introducing sleep resistant mobs.

Main scenario foes mix things up better than low level, but I am always dropped into Castrum, which never feels like the seals I am getting are worth the time unless we pull a speed run and at least I like Tam-Tara.

I feel more for the frequent trial roulette runners that always seem to land in Titan hard mode...

It is not about whether it is worth it to you. You should not speed run it unless everyone agrees to it and there is no 1st timers. The roulette is there to help other players, and sometime might even help yourself level your alt.

Oh, I know, I'm just groaning about it being so repetitive and long. Although I get to DPS more there than any other dungeon. @_@

As a healer, that's all I get. Tam Tara.
As a DPS, I get more places and I pray to God I get an Ifrit here and there.
I never got Sastasha but it drives you damn insane with Tam Tara.

I've gotten nothing but The Thousand Maws of Totorak constantly since I started using low level roulette. I'm not even joking I've never gotten anything else but ONCE Sastasha.
