    Vanity guide?

Hello, I was using the vanity system to change my gear but since I'm not sure how an item is going to look like, I was wondering if there is a website with ideas for the vanity system and that tells you where you can get the items. When I used to play WoW, some websites had this kind of guides I know it's a different game but the vanity system and the trasmog of WoW it's like the same thing. Thank you and I hope I posted in the correct section I was not sure where to post it.

I haven't unlocked it yet, but my understanding was that this game's vanity system simply applies the appearance of one item onto a different item (using a crystal catalyst). You need to already have both items, so you should already know how they look. It's simply a matter that after it's been glamoured item A is going to end up looking like item B. To see that before glamoring it, just put on item B directly and look at it.

Or did I mis-understand something, since (as mentioned) I haven't unlocked the system yet?

GamerEscape is working on adding images for items, but it's still a work in progress. As for a guide on getting items for vanity... I'm not sure what you'd put in it since everyone has different tastes.

Can any item be used for the glamor? I would love to rock the Royal Set, if and when I finally get it.

Glamours is on a per item basis (so, rather than "this is how I appear" it's "this armor now looks like another piece." You can use any armor to glamour, so long as it's a lower level than the piece that will be worn, and can be equipped by your class (if you glamour a piece, then try to wear it on a class that can't wear what it appears as, it will appear as the item actually being worn instead.)

Yeah what I'm looking for it's something with pictures of sets that other people created, It's something like a catalog that is also going to tell you how you can get the item, I used something like that with WoW and I don't want to waste time experimenting with sets I'm lazy I know

Yeah the problem is that some items like dresses are really expensive and some of them have different colors and dont want to purchase if I dont know how looks like

Ah, yes. I see what you mean now. We need a gear preview feature that would show us what we'd look like wearing an item we see on the marketboards, crafting log, etc.

Considering we already have a dye preview feature, it seems this would just be a matter of extending that preview window to be triggerable from sources not already in our inventory, and regardless of whether they accept dyes.

IIRC, gear preview is coming with patch 2.28 or 2.3.
