Sacred soil & Shadow Flare are incompatible

Steps:
I simply cast Aetherflow to get three stacks, then I used Sacred Soil and, immediately after, I cast Shadow Flare. Casting the second spell would uncast the effect of the first one (one way or the other: SS > SF; SF > SS)

The thing is... it's another Lv50 that both ARN classes learn (differently to SMN's > Enkindle, or Spur if you prefer since it's Lv45 as Sacred Soil, over SCH's > Sacred Soil).
I mean, would it make sense that SMN's enkindle/spur cancelled the effect of Shadow Flare? It's not like SCH's Shadow Flare would inflict as much damage of that of a SMN, anyways.
Besides, the tooltip does not state that they are incompatible

But, again, SMN's got Physick to heal other characters with... Or Raise. That doesn't make him healer as much as Shadow Flare makes him DPS. But, anyways, the point of this topic is: The tooltip does not state that they are incompatible (not that X class should be deprived of certain skills) and, thus, both would be cast at any time w/o one of them being uncast.

The bug report, if you want to submit one, should be to fix the tool tips. Not the skills.

Scholars have a choice over offense (Shadow Flare) and defense (Sacred Soil). It's for balance purposes.

Is there any link you guys can provide about former tooltips or have they always been this way? (which would mean an actual response to the way they should work, as SE might have forgotten to state so or they simply derped when adjusting these two spells).
