Discussion of climbing

There's been discussion of jumping.. but I want to talk about climbing. If you have been to the large open area of Coerthas you have seen those big mountains and cliff faces. It would be so cool to be able to climb up them like a rock climber and get to the top. I think it would add a great sense of exploration and adventure. Don't you?

I prefer diving, off one of those huge cliffs near by a waterfall O.o

But, yes climbing would, but that would feel way to off for FF, let alone a MMORPG, at least to me. <.<

Maybe climbing ladders~
I remember that ladder in Phomiuna Aqueducts in XI, that was interesting because it went 1st person when you did it. It felt like I was playing Myst or something like that xD

Diving would be incredible, along with swimming. Innovation. It wouldn't feel like FF until they did it.

If I'm stupid enough to get to mess around on the edge of a mountain, then let me pay the price by falling to my death. As pretty as the terrain is, there's something rather annoying about invisible safety rails everywhere.
