Thread: Companies.Do not let it be just another FFXI conquest.

The game isn't in a position to be innovative. Yes, it's standard. But the game lacked content to begin with.

It's a well welcome addition in my eyes and I'm enjoying it so far.

So because people are " me want content now orz" they cant make companies into what they were supposed to be .
I can understand re-doing all thins that failed but killing it right before it came to live is a bit sad.Well i hope they dont erase the first directions on this.

I definitely agree with you on that part. It is standard and generic. But it's something that has been missing from the game since day one.

Once the game gets it's footing, I hope to see more innovative stuff as you said.

The old idea for Companies were just a beefed up Linkshell. There's no reason they can't still do that. Personally, I'd end up bored more faster with the old Company than our current one.

The current one is just a quest hub for a dungeon , with a counter for points to buy stuf with (see guild marks vendor)

I cant think of anything more generic.But ill dig, is better than nothing.

Well im not impressed.This is extremely standard mechanics, nothing innovative or zomg look how new and cool is it.

Flame all you want but im gonna say it again. Dont let the initial vision of what companies were going to be follow the stamina road.I would be deeply sad.

Say ships is coming whatever,so far im not impressed.The point is to not give up on creating something new with companies.This will be the biggest selling point for FFXIV.

You must realise, player run companies are differentiated from the NPC run ones.

Eventually we will get player run companies.

What they were "suppose to be" was a vision under a FAILED editor... Yoshi-P has a new vision.. let him see that vision out.. so far he's rocking it! I just hope he listens to the JP players and not all the whiny westerners..

If his "new vision" is copying ffxi, im not digging it.and just FYI im not from the west side of this planet.

Is unbelievable , something as simple as a quest hub with points for rewards and everyone is OMG HOW COOL ARE YOU u roxz.

Something as simple as a SFG flag , and we STILL dont have it.
Something as simple as a linkshell interface, not there.

But the guy puts in something comun for every single mmo in the planet and he has "a vision".

I have nothing against yoshi , i think he is doing it right one step at the time.

But you fanatics are really annoying.

As i said , im okay with waiting as long as they do not loose track , wich is the motive of my post , to not dig into the " me want content now " crew.But comments like yours are completely uncalled for.
