Wonder how bad the MP change in cure going to affect solo/duo players, meh gotta try it out first and see.
Really liked fighting hard mobs solo to see how long i can last/fight. Should be ok, just need to think of another way to do it![]()

They can't be this stupid, honestly. I have to get in the game to see what's going on. If they are that stupid, then they've just forced me to quit.
Note: If you couldn't tell from the Marauder quote, I'm talking about playing solo and using cures while playing the DoW classes.

If you were even close to running out of MP as Conjurer before this patch, you were playing horribly wrong, probably spamming cures non-stop even while everyone was at full health. SE wouldn't have made this change if it made healing impossible. All it is doing is weeding out the terrible healers.Um.

I use Sacrifice and Cure 2 (at my level) to keep myself alive while playing all of my combat classes. 75 MP when I only have 250 is ridiculous, beyond ridiculous. 3 heals and out of mana. I think thats a clue. I'll let it sink in for a second. You shouldn't be soling in this game. I thought the difference between FFXI and FFXIV was that FFXIV was supposed to cater MORE to the solo casual player. If that's being changed, then it's being changed, but comments like this are contradictory to what the original intent of the game was?

Upon more than 10 seconds of thinking about the coming changes, if anything, these changes mean that players won't succeed with a melee free for all frenzy like they have been. Battles will require more finesse and resource management, so my negative nancy comments about needing 3 healers probably won't hold true. It'll just mean that the frontline idiots will need to go easy so the backline idiots can keep up. So, I suppose this is a good thing.

Or that playing solo in an MMORPG shouldn't be very efficient?
Or that a healing spell for a warrior class is a exception, a bonus and not a necessity.
Boy, this game made ppl really soft with it's easiness...
Also people complained about a lack of class-uniqueness, but there you have a counter measurement.
Warrior-classes getting less allround-like and get weaknesses where they should get them.
And they get benefits where they should by lowering the recast time of Bloodbath and Second Wind.
As an addition to that.
Solo players have leves, where they get their MP refreshed after every leve.
Grinding was never meant to be done solo, but at least duo.
And now their is a better reason to team up, if you want to grind.
