The devs haven't come out and said anything specific about T6, but I imagine it's going to be the same situation with T2 where the dev team didn't forsee a specific way to handle a mechanic and are just going to leave it alone. Doing the LoS method still requires some specific timing and awareness and it also stuns the person even if they don't get Devoured, so if you screw up you'll still add a stack to the boss which will increase the difficulty of the fight.
