Why can't we solo old content?

One of my favorite things to do in WoW was solo old dungeons to collect armor sets for glamour and other fun stuff. We also used to run our friends through for some gear.

Is there any reason why SE is not letting us do this?

no risk vs reward for alt jobs, you may as well just ask to be handed the gear on a platter.

If you are forced to either use that class or be synced to that level, its an actual reward.

Plus you know, that whole playing a multiplayer game and all.

Yeah but you outgrow the gear quickly anyway. No one takes the battlemage set seriously for it's stats right? They just want it for Glamours. There is no risk in queuing up for low level roulette and facerolling a dungeon. It's a waste of time and a very inefficient way of getting something for vanity purposes. The amount of 50s queuing to get drops for a vanity slot is far less I'd imagine than you're assuming.

Battlemage set will last you easily till you get your AF set, thats a lot of not needing to care about gear while levelling.

And glamours are as much of a reward as using the gear for the stats to some people, and the risk is the possibility of wasting time because the gear didn't drop, someone else won the roll, or getting a group of very new players and not even actually finishing.

you're putting way too much stock in making it 'difficult' to gear up other jobs(if you can even call it difficulty). seriously that's so unimportant I cannot understand why you would care in the least about it. oh no I'm leveling slightly easier! the world is ending!

how do you feel about being able to do this at 50? you know I have a full set of leviathan weapons for classes that aren't even at 50. clearly SE needs to address this ASAP.
