was in a static for about a month or two we cleared t5 only with echo 10% (LOL) then we were stuck at t6 for four weeks due to some weak links and slow learners. a couple of our members had to go away for a while due to irl things, since i didnt want to pug or stop my progresion i decided this would be the perfect time to move on.
there was other stuff too that irked me. like people not respecting your time. say "i am going to show up at this time" and each time they are always late like 40 minutes or have to be called to log in. i have no more patience for such things.
in my new static we 2 shot t6 and got t7 down in 2 weeks now progresing through t8.
we had to replace a few bad apples and good folks along the way (ppl not showing up/lying and then doing coil/irl things hapening no time to play etc)

pretty happy with my playing experience atm

Hmmm only started with a static in january and it was FC members - that fell appart due to a disagreement and a new one poped up with half of us atleast in there. Then one person got RL issues, another... we replaced what we could, grabbe FC ppl where we could then one of the tanks got RL commitments and then we mostly stopped progression(we're at t5). Atm there's 5 of us around and since we started a new FC(we left the old one end of april) we have been focusing on that and getting people there and making it a place to have fun. So progression is still on our minds but it's second to having fun with everyone in the FC.

So far only really unlucky with EX progression no matter what party I join or DF or anything... seem to hit a fail on it...

My first static crumbled after our raid leader bought gil, so he and his friend decided to leave. After about 3 months break I came back to see that no one is playing anymore. :C
Joined my 2nd one, went through T5-T8 with it, so far it's pretty drama-less. :P

I have been in three different static groups.

My first one was with the second fc I joined, rotated dps until I was put in a group with unreliable people. I eventually left the fc.

Second static was when I rejoined my first fc. Eventually all the players lost interest and it died. :c

My last static is actually kinda funny. I originally joined as a melee dps. I went on vacation for two weeks and I got replaced. They asked for me back to heal instead and I've been there ever since. We're on T8.

My static is made up of 5 rl friends so the other 3 spots are filled by permanent static members and a whole bunch of reserve members who fill in for any missing static members. There is no drama with the static since it was stated before that only thick skinned individuals could join. Most of the static runs t5 drunk and we are still working on it. Lots of laughing cursing and joking on vent during the runs. We run for about 6hrs with breaks here and there.

I think I'm in my 3rd group since raiding the original Coil. I've been in the same group since raiding 2nd Coil though. There really hasn't been much drama in the groups I've been in, it's mostly come down to real life circumstances or disinterest in the game leading to people quitting and either having to find replacements or the group disbanding altogether. In my current group we've had to replace two people since 2nd Coil started, but people have remained committed otherwise.

no, actually, I want to join a static group. I don't care if they even have t6 down or not. I personally, have gotten 6 and 7 down through PF. starting off on progression groups, then when I personally 'get' the mechanics, I find a kill group. what I'm saying is, t6 is easy enough in PF, just getting the weekly clear of t7 is hit and miss, even in so-called 'kill' groups. I guess I should have been more clear. I.don't join 'kill' groups not knowing anything about a particular turn. ill join progression groups for that.

My original static had 4 people quit the game. Now with my second static which is about 50% of my friend's second static with her alt. So yeah, people quitting and reconciling our resources.

I created my first static as a mean for my FC to have a group running evening EST. We progressed to turn 4 but never could beat turn 5 cause of lack of time/interest/skill so I went ahead and beat turn 5. Then I made a second Coil static with random players I met during a Party Finder for turn 6, had to replace 2 healers and 1 tank but after that, it was stable. Now we're on turn 9.
Of course I still go back to help my FC with previous coil but I feel it will be a while before they start downing turn 6+ because these new turns might be a bit too hardcore for some.

First static was a great bunch of people. Ran with them from early Oct. 2013 until Feb. 2014. We didn't really start hard on T5 until Jan. and were having some issues, mostly with the raid leaders connection and dive bombs. He (tank) his wife (healer) and their RL friend (tank) all decided to quit due to the frustration and lack of content. The rest of us split. Some quit shortly afterwards, and it ended up being me and one of the BRDs as the only people who still play.

I bounced around in a couple semi statics for about a month and settled on my most recent one finally. Everyone is a pretty good player, but they don't take "being on time" as seriously as the old static. This drives me nuts, but I'm willing to tolerate it because they are good players and generally good people.

    We're currently on T9

p.s. to be fair, I've had to change our raid times for work reasons here and there as well, and they've been accommodating for me, but not without some fun poking.
