i can heal all the way up to the first boss on my SCH, gotta make use of your fairies cool down and shadow flare is an absolute must

While I believe you that most don't pull to the top, the reason many do (myself included), is that you don't have to deal with the bomb aoe's if you pull up to near the stream.

I have no trouble with the 'why'. Just at least tell me your doing it.

WHM is the superior healer for Bray. On the first pull a pld can HG and you can get 4 Cleric Stance Holys in. With a WAR, you can holy until vengeance is off. On the second pull you don't have to heal either tank. Divine Seal Medica 2 -> Regen the tank, swift cleric Holy, presence of mind Holy spam. A good WHM can potentially out dps a blm on the second pull if they die in under 20seconds.

Furthermore, WAR is the better tank for berserk/bloodbath overpower spam. WHM/WAR/BLM/BRD(BLM) have given me the best results while I worked on my animus.

Notes taken. Will have to look into moving around some macros. Anything to make Longstop (Hard) suck less and I am the one that can make it suck less.

Kind of nice when the healer can do something to make the run go better. Most of that is usually on the DPS or Tank.

SCH's pretty okay to use, just a matter of timing when you have time to throw down some dps (if the tank is geared/good) With your fairy roused and succor+whispering dawn you can get a few bits of down time to throw the odd shadow flare or bane before returning to healing. Boss wise you can pretty much help with the dps unless people are getting hurt a lot. I main SCH so find it harder to go as WHM even though people have told me its easier to heal on WHM. ^-^ That said I don't mind normal paced runs. Long as we all get what we came from

My main job is sch and I'm pretty decently geared on both healers (over 100 ilevel).

I usually run it as WHM just for the few Holy's.

From an healing perspective, with SCH healing is easier than with WHM.
From a dps perspective, they're kinda equal.

WHM Holy's damage and SCH's shadow flare + selene buff are kinda the same in a speed run for me.

DPS on bosses, the SCH wins because I can dps while the fairy heals, while on WHM I have to renew regens/medica II then go back to dps.


(Remember that a Shadow Flare total damage is in the 700-800s, if you add Miasma that's another 200 damages, so basically 2x Holy)
