Swimsuits for summer even

ive been wondering how there going to put in the swimsuits, when i first saw them i was instantly shocked. Any ideas of how they might add them into the game though for next patch and is it with next patch?

Probably like any other event. Make it through items from the sponsoring npc or obtaining them from said npc. It's going to be in this patch today!

While it would be awesome if the event was in 1.18, I don't recall seeing any mention of a specific time. I could be 100% wrong and if so please link me to where it does say that. I guess we'll know in about 2 hours either way when the notes go up (hopefully) lol.

Nothing there confirms its inclusion in 1.18, all it hints at is that it's coming soon. Considering it's a summer event and it's nearly the end of July, I would imagine it would be coming soon however nothing concrete about 1.18 was stated.

It may not go live immediately in 1.18, but the stuff for it will certainly be contained in the 1.18 patch files.

So all you DAT miners out there better get cracking so we can see the other swimsuits!

They will be from the events. I am pretty excited about it, I was talking about this with my linkshell last night but summer events have always been the best in my opinion, atleast on XI. Fighting the buffalos, getting transported to random dungeons you have to traverse while under a level 1 cap, and goldfishing were all really enjoyable. I personally enjoyed goldfishing every year even though I had all the rewards from it the first time I did it. Plus the music change and the fireworks were always cool. The dancing one was kind of subpar but the rest were all really great and I hope that SE can continue that tradition because summerfest was always something I looked forward to in the 6 years I played XI
