    Warriors were buffed in 2.1 because of how nobody would take a Warrior into Coil. The buffs were necessary so that there'd be a wider spread to tank population. Before 2.1, if you wanted to tank, you would be a Paladin or nobody would take you as a tank - it was that bad. A lot of Warriors who were aspiring to be tank mains were forced to switch to Paladin if they wanted to tank.

    Paladins will only behind whenever a large majority of groups decide that 2 Warriors for every end game content (ie. Coil) is the only acceptable way to go.

    Have you tried using Fight or Flight and doing aggro maintenance with a few flashes every Rage of Halone combo?

    I barely play Paladin and have few to no issues with enmity.

    They were brought in line with Paladins because of the game's community. Before the change it was difficult to find a group doing anything as a Warrior. You pretty much had to join an FC if you wanted to get anything done at all.

    Complain about a class imbalance when Full Party Dungeon Raid groups are saying "Sorry, Paladins are not very good. We would rather dissolve the group than put in attempts with a Paladin." Do you realize how many groups were doing double Paladin in coil before the Warrior changes were implemented? Because it was a lot.

    At least the situation now is that a large amount of groups out there want both tanks.

    At the moment, yes, Warriors do have an edge over Paladins and are generally the preferred tank. But in the content that really matters, the difference between the two classes are not as big as someone might try to make them out to be.

    If paladin can keep threat with flash spam in Brayflox Hard from a blm using the transpose flare rotation then they do not need a buff. So... they don't need a buff I guess.

    I'm tired of people trying to make all the jobs perform the exact same in every aspect of combat. There is already a huge lack of diversity between players, stop trying to take away job individuality.

    I wouldn't be opposed to some pld buffs but, I don't really consider them behind.

    I've tanked most everything there is to tank as pld with some exceptions (namely the new coil, but i did tank turn 7 when a tank couldn't make it once), but I have rarely really had any issues with threat.

    I agree paladins could use some AoE threat lovin'. I find flash and riot blade combo sufficient even in groups much more geared than my tank usually. With exception being when I'm co-tanking with a warrior, then I can see that their AoE threat is much stronger as the mobs favor sticking to them, despite my best efforts (while i can get many in a large mob, the warrior tends to get the most).

    True enough though, spamming flash is kind of boring but... Warriors just spam overpower mostly, while they have some rather nice limited use AoE abilities. Maybe something like that for paladin would be nice, like something with kind of a longer cooldown that got some nice snap AoE threat. Like a Circle of Scorn buff would kind of be nice. Like nerf it's TP free-ness and off GCD-ness but make it a stronger hitting ability or give it a +enmity modifier perhaps?

    i'd prefer skills that focus on utility and defense, ie: expand more on the shield usage, cover ability, party buffs..etc. I think it's ok to leave the AoE damage/threat dealing to warriors since that's what they are good at, while pld focus on single target tanking and in the future expand into group buffs/protection. would love to have the ability to cover everyone behind me for aoe damage.

    Man I miss collision.

    And tbh... some people still prefer dual paladins. Because 'lolwartoosquishy,nohallowedground' despite having inner beast for every spike damage... the hallowed ground thing is a fricking crutch for high healing stress moments.

    I have no problem keeping hate on large groups with flash. What a lot of people don't seem to know is that one of the factors that effect amount of enmity generated by flash is linked to your weapon. If you are having problems holding hate might look into a weapon upgrade.

    Circle slash would be redundant, circle of scorn does the same thing and is already completely pointless. The major thing paladin does NOT need is more damage moves. What they need is a use for MP other than spamming stoneskin and flash. And an accuracy buff? Nobody would EVER use that. If you aren't at the accuracy cap, you should not be in the fight, period.

    Circle of Scorn is far from pointless, read th other post to see why. Ilvl 90 PLD/WAR tanked everything upto and including turn 5.
