I'm sorry. I know I'm not supposed to make a post about someone else's post but I can't ignore this. You must have done something wrong with your BLM. Come to Behemoth and I can show you a Flare that can hit 1.4k. And I'm not even that geared.
We're not asking for net code or anything off the wall here, just the hairstyles, maybe? For vanity purposes?
It would certainly rock!
I had another question, but it seems the 2.28 patch notes answered that one for me.
You guys at SE freakin' rock around the clock, keep up the awesome work!!
Will SE do anything about the materia price gouching with the relic novus quest? Some of these prices are jumping from 240,000 to 700,000 gil. It is becoming a major problem. No one, except crafters and myth item sellers will be able to obtain them if not regulated in some grand company store or npc retailer. It might lead to more annoying real money transaction advertisements and desperate people seeing these annoyances as their only option, which you, SE, consider cheating.

Continuing with the languages questions:
In case you are planning/working on translating the game to Spanish, would you translate just the text or the voices too?
Thanks.
Hi, I just have one question and I already read the whole thread to make sure nobody asked this before:
Are you planning on translating the game to any more languages? I'm thinking here in Spanish, but I'm pretty sure other people could be interested in the game being translated to their own languages too.
Chocobo Raising! <Can I have it?> <Will we have it?>
Much like FFXI, would like to be able to raise Chocobos, and get different colors and stats depending on how you raise. But a nice departure from XI, would be to actually control the racing part. Benefits, would be sought after color chocobos. Faster then normal chocobos, and stronger or deadlier Chocobos when soloing.
Thanks!

The Sphere Scroll states that there's a maximum of 75 slots that you can infuse. Unofficial sources also state that you can only increase 2 stats. Does that mean that if I choose to upgrade Piety and Determination on my WHM I would be giving up 11 extra stats?

You can increase 3 stats too... or 4 stats... or even 5...

With what the community has figured out so far regarding the Relic Novus quest, I think it's quite clear that even casuals will eventually score enough Alexandrites to perform the Sphere Scroll infusions. A much bigger problem is the necessary materia.
Materia III and IV were already expensive before, and with the amount of materia that will be needed for reasonable stat distribution, I feel that we need more ways of obtaining such materia.
Do you have any plans to make them purchasable with GC seals? (different ranks required for different materia ranks)
Doing that would also solve a lot of perceived griefing in dungeons and raids where people go full spiritbond setups forcing the others to work much harder to clear the content.
It would also have a sideeffect of more people running dungeons for gear that can be turned in for seals, and of more people running FATEs, keeping dungeons and FATEs more relevant than they are today.
