New Character transfer stuff?

Is there still no way to transfer your own items and gil to a new character? I have been playing a lalafel but want to change to a larger race mainly so i can see more detail in the weapons and armor but other reasons as well. Problem is I have a fair amount of items and over 2 million gil that I kinda want to keep lol. Anyways to do this? I don't mind really "starting over" now that surplus is gone I should be back to where I was/am in not much time at all really.

Still no means of doing this other than having a friend transfer them four at a time.

Well, you cant pass on items other then having a friend help you, but if you want to pass the money on, make the alt, have it put something stupid up on the wards for the amount you want, go back to your main and buy it, and other then losing a little to tax, there you go. Not an elegant solution, but its better then nothing. Good luck!
