    Mercy Stroke adjustment.

    I rarely get the killing blow with Mercy Stroke unless I'm playing solo, In which case I normally do get the need to recover HP so rapidly.

    However I think a small change many warriors would like would be to replace the HP restore to TP recovery. Say 200% of dmg dealt on killing blow.

    If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
    If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
    If I play healer I only give it out to tank.

    Only if they should be getting a commendation.
    There are always exceptions to the rules!

    I think Mercy Stroke should still give HP but not require it to be the killing blow. It is restrictive enough that you can't use it until enemy HP is below a certain level. Thematically and balance wise very little changes, especially as sometimes with trash mobs there's a very small window for using this ability at all, killing blow or not. Mercy Stroke procs and mob dies before my previous skill's animation ends.

    Total aside, but I hate that I can't use abilities until animations end. I suspect we'd see a lot less missed stuns and silences from so-called "instant" abilities.

    PLD doesn't get a lot of useful cross-class skills, and so Mercy Stroke is usually on my list. Given how tricky the timing often is to get the killshot with it, it'd be nice if there was some kind of "conoslation" prize for using it and failing to get the kill. Perhaps restore 1/8th HP when it fails to get the kill, and 1/4th if you do get the kill?

    Perhaps since it's supposed to be putting them out of their misery, combine the 2 above ideas. Lower the heal a little, make it usable at any time, and since you would feel a little better putting them out of their misery, make it where if you do get a killing blow it restores TP (perhaps as a trait if nothing else)

    Here is an idea, have it be a debuff that only deals damage, the same damage at that, when the attack would kill the effected. There would be a timer, so that if you didn't get the effected to that point soon enough it goes away, and would automatically go away if they get healed to the point where you could not place the debuff on them.

    I'm not sure but as it stands now the extra effect is kind of pointless.

    Only change I would make to it is to increase the attack potency. I usually miss it by a tiny amount of an enemy's HP.

    Although, as it stands, I wouldn't be concerned with changes to it.

    I think an extremely minor potency increase wouldn't hurt but that's all.

    It's very fun hitting it just right & feeling like you threaded the needle, but a ton of the time latency prevents you from accurately doing so.
