Bard-tanking!

First off, no, you can't tank as a Bard, not under conventional means anyways. What we did was not practical, but we did it for the challenge of seeing if it could be done. And we did. With relative ease I might add

As I explained on the actual page, I was both well overgeared for the dungeon, and the highest geared of my party. The other BRD and I had previously (accidentally) done this before on Amdapor Keep, with an experienced party. This was actually the second time, and we're planning a 3rd (Halatali HM) soon. I was not aware it was the healer's first run of Lost City, and if I'd known, I wouldn't have done that to him. But he pulled through it quite well. Aside from an early wipe (my fault for not ensuring everyone was ready), and some door derps at Diabolos, it wasn't much trouble and a lot of fun! The second boss was a bit tough without any enmity tools to work with, but we adapted.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the reason for some weird cuts and jumps ahead was due to some VERY raunchy linkshell conversations going on at the time (names and specific details were dropped, and I'm sure those people wouldn't have wanted that broadcasted!)

I usually tank (Pld main) but out of boredom some FC mates and I did Brayflox HM as 3 Brds and a Smn (no tank AND no healer). Only had one death, and that was at the very end of the very last boss. Was definitely different and broke the monotony =)

You know, on a whim, my friends and I did an NT Brayflox HM last night too! 2 bards, a SCH, and a SMN with Titan-Egi. titan kinda stole my thunder a bit, but I expected that. We didn't speed run it, but it felt like it went as fast as one, and you're right, it DEFINITELY broke the monotony of it.

I kinda wanna run it like this every time now. . .
