Wow that's just too many skills. Something some games suffered from. having a smaller skill set but more unique is much better game design (in my opinion). I'd like CNJ to have a damage job too.Sadly, Conjurer lost a lot of skills due to 2.0: http://www.final-fantasy-14.org/abil...&submit=Filter
THM 1.0 became ARC
I would like some kind of nature-elementalist as a second job for CNJ rather like how arcanist is split at the moment.
CNJ 1.0 became THM
CNJ+THM 1.0 became CNJ 2.0

Ya they bloated the skill list for THM and CON in 1.0 honestly if you look at the list of skills they had you could easily turn them into 4-5 classes without having to add any more skills from the list of two shown.

Since the elemental wheel is gone now, they'd need to alter the utility a bit. Maybe Water II could be a less powerful Fire II, with a minor added effect. Change Fluid Aura's name back to Water.

Honestly, rather sticking to the whole "This mob is weak against this element" mantra, which I am feeling at this point is a pretty old and worn out concept, I'd like to see them give each element more identity. We're starting to see the makings of that here in the sets we do have, but as they move forward, I'd like to see further expanse on that - and to expand the usefulness of each element independently.
As far as Red Mage, it would have to be built from the ground up differently than the current mages we have, to utilize its Iconic front-line role that was fairly shunned in ARR's MMO predecessor.

Wait for Geomancer, Levi Egi, & Level-Cap Raise.

Fluid aura is extremely useful by the way. If an enemy is already cornered, free DPS is great, and most primals and enemies like that are immune to the effect, so it's just free DPS either way you look at it.

Fluid Aura makes up a large part of WHM/CNJ's dps and not using it is a damn shame. For both Rafflesia and The Avatar, use Cleric Stance, Aero, Fluid Aura (off-GCD), Aero II, turn off Cleric Stance every 30 seconds to help your party meet the dps checks.
Fluid Aura: Miss
Yep...lots of added DPS there...
I often try to DPS on Levi EX, and I see this happen all the time:
Aero: Miss. Aero: Miss. Aero 2: Miss. Aero <damage!>. Aero: 2 Miss. "Ohh, look, add is casting, better use" Fluid Aura: Miss "%$@Y&#@Y"
That's why all of the new healer gear has Accuracy on it. Trust me, as a SCH, it's not fun missing 1/3 of my Energy Drains.
