Why does everyone blame the tank?

The best advice I can give though is to communicate, I've found that people are usually pretty cool once they're made aware that you do indeed know what you're doing and aren't some random troll/little kid/illiterate monkey, or whatever those kinds of people are envisioning when they jump down your digital throat so readily. . .

Yeah, I had a story Brayflox run back when I was leveling SMN where the tank was rather bad. I kept ripping hate with Bane, and the healer was with his cures. When the healer was like, "Don't blame me if you die because I can't keep up with heals," I responded with, "Nah, I'd blame the tank, because neither of us is doing enough that we should be getting aggro." After that, we just worked together to keep things flowing more or less smoothly and eventually cleared the dungeon. One heck of an Aiatar fight, though. @_@
