How does it? I haven't seen any argument beyond the fact that bad DPS may be held accountable for their performance just like bad healers/tanks, which is somehow a "toxic" thing constituting "harassment".All this thread proves like every other thread is SE's current stance is right. Don't ask, don't tell.
Everything is provided on your own screen. The moment you push it out to the world, in a justified or unjustified attempt to push your weight around, it's harassment zone, just don't do it and everything is right in the world.
The shear fact of your quote is already enough proof by trying to segregate anyone and everyone into "accountability" "bad" and generally finger pointing drama.
It's already toxic that you are trying to justify it. Walk away is something people can't seem to do for some reason in environment where you know less then .5% of the population, yet want to assert your views on that 99.5%
Or as they call it, harassment.

It's the sad truth. A lot of the people, in regards to DPS meter discussions, I end up putting on ignore due to the sheer attitude issue. There's no debate, discussion, argument, or brainstorming ways so that they can improve themselves and that same method can be applied to others so they can improve as well. It all boils down to wanting DPS meters for the simple fact of knowing who to point the finger to as well as gloating. The amount of hostility met because you don't agree 100% with them, despite bringing forth alternatives that don't single out players is pretty hilarious to me. I question some of the "I want to be better" statements since they bring up others in the process. The shear fact of your quote is already enough proof by trying to segregate anyone and everyone into "accountability" "bad" and generally finger pointing drama.

Every argument about why it tends to be beneficial revolves around someone doing bad dps and that thanks to parsers, which is typical, they would single someone out.

That is because this is a common scenario which parsers rectify. Bad players deserve to be singled out and removed from party finder groups which specify a minimum level of performance, whether they are healers, tanks, or dps.
